Healio is seeking a Social Strategist to develop, scale, and optimize strategic social and thought leadership initiatives across the organization. In partnership with the Vice President of Brand Strategy, this role will help shape and advance Healio’s overall social strategy, driving programs that support business objectives, expand audience engagement, amplify executive and physician thought leadership, and grow ambassador and advocacy initiatives.

This position serves as a strategic partner to the Vice President of Brand Strategy in advancing Healio’s social, thought leadership, ambassador, and audience engagement initiatives and helping scale emerging programs across the organization. A key component of the role will be partnering with the VP of Brand Strategy to cultivate relationships with physician ambassadors, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and strategic partners to support content activation, thought leadership, and brand visibility initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with experience in social strategy, influencer or ambassador program management, thought leadership, and cross-functional campaign development. This position is not primarily focused on day-to-day social publishing, but rather on the development, activation, and optimization of programs that drive organizational growth and engagement.

This position reports to the Vice President of Brand Strategy.

Key Responsibilities
Support the development and management of physician ambassador, KOL, influencer, and advocacy initiatives, including relationship management, activation planning, onboarding, and ongoing engagement.
Partner with the Vice President of Brand Strategy to help define, evolve, and execute Healio’s overall social media strategy in alignment with organizational, brand, and audience growth objectives.
Collaborate with the VP of Brand Strategy to identify opportunities to elevate physician, executive, and organizational thought leadership across social and digital channels.
Support the development and execution of executive visibility and thought leadership programs in partnership with organizational leaders and subject matter experts.
Partner with marketing, editorial, product, and creative teams to develop integrated social activation strategies supporting product launches, campaigns, events, and strategic initiatives.
Support social amplification strategies for earned media, public relations, partnerships, and key organizational initiatives.
Analyze social and ambassador program performance and provide strategic recommendations for optimization and growth.
Identify emerging social, influencer, and digital engagement trends and recommend new opportunities for audience growth and engagement.
Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Healio’s social media vision, identifying opportunities to expand reach, strengthen brand presence, and drive audience growth across platforms.
Collaborate with internal teams to guide social storytelling, messaging, and content development.
Support employee advocacy and audience engagement initiatives across the organization.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful program execution.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
4-6 years of experience in social strategy, influencer marketing, thought leadership, brand marketing, communications, or related disciplines.
Experience developing and managing ambassador, influencer, advocacy, or creator programs.
Experience building relationships with external partners, subject matter experts, or key stakeholders.
Strong strategic thinking, communication, and project management skills.
Experience analyzing social performance data and translating insights into recommendations.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working within healthcare, medical publishing, life sciences, or a highly regulated industry.
Experience supporting executive visibility or thought leadership programs.
Familiarity with paid social and social amplification strategies.
The annual base salary for this position is $50,000 to $60,000.  Placement within this range is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, knowledge, skills, education, years and level of experience, and equity with internal team members.  If you are interested in a similar position outside of this range, please submit your resume with the code ‘WGJOBS’, as we often fill similar positions.

Employees living within a 50-mile radius of the office will be scheduled to work two days per week at our office in Thorofare, NJ.
